Match Against Libya will be very difficult But...Vice Captain William Troost Ekong looks ahead.

Nigeria,s Super Eagles Vice Captain William Troost Ekong says, the match against the Libyan Mediterranean Nights in Libya will be very difficult but believes his team is equally capable of any trick or tactics their opponent will present. 

According to him the first leg match inside the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo was won through the hard way. 

"Libyans were very difficult to beat and that is the beauty of African Football. We attacked them from every angle but they keep frustrating us until we got that winning goal, so in Libya we should expect more of that but we are fully prepared"  

Troost Ekong told Journalists after the game on Friday. 

Super Eagles are having their hands full on Tuesday 15th of October 2024 against Libya for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier 2025.

Nigeria leads the group with 7points, and needs an outright win to land safely in Morocco 2025.
