Media Officer Of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria Sharif Abdallah says, the main objective of the team is to pick the Africa U20 Nations Cup ticket in Lome Togo. 

Although winning the trophy can be the biggest advantage for Nigeria.

The Junior National Soccer team won the trophy two years ago in Niger Republic but faces a herculean task against the Junior Etalions of Burkina Faso and the Young Elephants of Cote De Ivoire in the group matches.

"Our objective is to pick the Nations Cup ticket and then look beyond the semifinals and the finals, Togo is not in our group, we are much concerned with Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast, the NFF is trying to motivate the entire National Teams including the Flying Eagles, so we are getting prepared for the Togo tournament"

Sharif Abdallah told our Chief Correspondent Sunday Onuchukwu Osunkwo in a telephone interview from Ikenne Nigeria. 

The WAFU Zone B Competition kicks off on October 17th and runs through the 31st of October 2024.

Nigeria is in group B, Comprising of 

Burkina Faso.
