Chairman Bauchi State Football Association, Patrick Pascal, MON Condoles People Of Kano State Over Death Of Athletes
It is with a deeply heavy heart that I, on behalf of the Bauchi State Football Association and the entire sports community in our dear state, extend my sincere condolences to the Government and good people of Kano State, the Kano State Sports Commission, and the families affected by the tragic loss of 22 athletes and officials who were returning from the National Sports Festival in Abeokuta.
This is a heartbreaking moment for Nigerian sports. These were young men and women who dedicated their lives to representing their state and country through the power of sports. Their sudden and painful departure is not just a loss to Kano State, but a devastating blow to the entire Nigerian sports family.
We mourn with you. We stand with you. And we pray for strength and healing for every bereaved family, friend, teammate, and coach impacted by this tragedy. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace, and may God grant comfort to all who grieve.
In this dark hour, let us not only remember their dreams and sacrifices but also reaffirm our collective commitment to the safety, dignity, and future of all Nigerian athletes.
Patrick Pascal, MON
Chairman, Bauchi State Football Association
