I Dr Safiya Yahaya Kongoila has served as the Assistant Secretary General of NAM assisting Coach Adu Uremu of blessed memory who was the NAM Secretary General as at then before his demise.
After Coach Adu's demise I was expecting to take up the position of NAM Secretary General but unfortunately there was some hidden gang up and lies by some selfish ambitious persons which I called the enemies of NAM against me portraying me a bad person before our honourable President if not you asked I wouldn't have brought it up nevertheless it's good that you asked so as to clear all the lies & speculation that has been circulating about me, now every body can see that I was just trying to serve the people with my passion for the work & with my God given capacity.
One thing I believe in life is no matter how long they try to suppress the Truth it will only come out expressly victorious

What do you intend doing for NAM as the new Sec Gen if you are elected?
Dr S.Y.K Our winning team has a track record, our members know we don't just talk but we put our words into action. A new functional website. No more denial of Visas to NAM members comparing to what happened in the Tunisian trip in 2019.
Corporate sponsors will be partnering with NAM and above all accountability will be our watchword.
For some unknown reasons, I was suppressed for 5 years.. And NAM became stagnant during this period.
But now am back and ready to return NAM to its former glory!
If given a chance.
Just like the 100% visa success we had in Tunisia 2019.

Dr Safiya Yahaya Kongoila is a goal getter, we don't know how she does it but she is what many says " Magical," Hard working, Vast, Intelligent, articulate, passionate, goal getter, a woman of high integrity home and abroad.
Because of the passion for NAM she want to serve again and make sure that NAM gets to the promise Land and to the greatest height with her own added quota.
