Former Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Benedict Akwuegbu says, he will continue to be helping people in and outside his community as long as he can do it.
The founder of defunct Mbaise Lions Fc that ruled the entire South east during the Federation Cup tournament some years ago believes in empowering the youths.
"I founded Mbaise Lions which took the Soccer scene by storm, some of my boys travelled to Europe and did well too. Now Ben Akwuegbu Fc is gathering momentum, so I will keep helping my community in any way I can, that is being philanthropic" Benedict Akwuegbu told facingsports.blogspot.com
" I don't have any Sponsorship but I have been doing this for many years now and I will keep doing it "
Akwuegbu added.
Ben Akwuegbu Fc is campaigning in the Nationwide League this season.
Benedict Akwuegbu played for the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea/Japan and the Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana/Nigeria 2000.
