Heartland Fc Technical Adviser Emmanuel Amuneke says, the Owerri based team will get better in subsequent matches in the Nigeria Professional Football League. 

Coach Amuneke who took over as manager of Heartland some few months ago believes that it is a gradual process for a team to get to the Eldorado. 

"We played 5 matches, including this win against El Kanemi lost 2, drew 2 and win 1, sometimes when you don't get what you desire it becomes annoying but the team will get better, we are still rebuilding, and the build up is yielding result. I thank the goal scorers and those that assisted brilliantly" 

Coach Emmanuel Amuneke told the media after the match against El Kanemi in Owerri on match day 5.

Emmanuel Amuneke has formally coached the then Ocean boys Fc of Port Harcourt, Taifa Stars of Tanzania and qualified them to the Afcon after 30yrs in limbo, won the FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile 2015 for Nigeria, the squad that produced the present African Footballer of the Year Victor Osimhen of Galasatary Fc Turkey.
