Former Super Falcons Of Nigeria Winger Patience Avre Odeli has blasted former Nigeria football Federation Presidents for negligence and lack of reward for their services wearing the green white green since 1999.

The 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup player says, government should remember the old players that suffered a lot but was not rewarded. 

"A lot of my set (1999 to 2006) are still suffering without being remembered for all they have done for Nigeria, l thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for rewarding these girls for winning the WAFCON in Morocco, their fighting spirit played out against the host country" 
Patience Avre told totorinews.com in an exclusive interview from her base in the United States. 

"Government should award scholarships for our ladies for life after Football, right here now education is very key, Super Falcons players need to be given that attention by the NFF and the government"  Avre added.


Patience Avre Odeli played for Nigeria at the FIFA Women's World Cup in 1999 and appeared in two other World Cups before playing several times for the Super Falcons at the Africa Cup of Nations.
