Nigeria as a Country is blessed with so many talents.
From primary school to secondary schools talents are abound at the disposal of Coaches' Managers and Technical Advisers.
Nigeria Sports does not need to be searching for upcoming Athletes when we have them in abundance.
To be honest a Nigerian team coach can get raw talents within weeks and months and ready to compete in the international scene.
One of those sports is FOOTBALL.
Football no doubt is the king of sports and in Nigeria is like a national religion.
Ethnic differences are forgotten when the National team is playing whether men or women' Super Eagles or Super Falcons.
Cast your mind back when the DREAM TEAM won the Gold Medal in Atlanta Georgia 1996, everywhere was shot down.
Many Heads of state and government hosted the team with the highest and most significant award in the land.
Also remember the 1980 Afcon winning Squad were the Nigeria government offered houses and national awards at various luxurious locations across the country.
Just to mention a few, in the twenty first century where we need to be progressing and moving forward yet our football has nosedived with a million miles backwards.
We need to fight not a physical war but by using our intelligence and crucial understanding to select the best hands to handle this precious gift to Nigeria called FOOTBALL.
This is where Benedict Akwuegbu (a.k.a) Austrian Bomber comes in with his vast experience as an Ex International played for all the under-aged national teams. U17' U20' U23' the Super Eagles most senior national team of Nigeria.
He was with Heartland Fc of Owerri. Before that he financed a grassroot team Mbaise Lions Fc with his own personal money to prosecute the FA Cup from the State level to the national level.
The team bowed out of the FA Cup now the President Federation Cup at the national level with heads held high.
He was appointed Technical director of Mighty Jets of Jos with a remarkable achievements in few weeks after taking over. Akwuegbu has sponsored many grassroot players to Europe with his personal finances without demanding a kobo from any group.
Akwuegbu presently he has formidable teams one campaigning in the NLO, Ben Akwuegbu Fc, while, Ben Akwuegbu U19, and Ben Akwuegbu Feeders are all based in Northern Nigeria with best modern facilities a club can afford.
If he can manage teams from the grassroot level to National prominence talkless of the national teams which he will pamper like a new born baby.
As a player he played for Super Eagles of Nigeria at the prestigious 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea/Japan.
He was present during the Afcon in 2000 when Ghana/Nigeria co-hosted the Tournament.
Presently his philanthropic career still holds both as an achiever' sports administrator and a qualified Nursing career in a private University in the United Kingdom.
Football is like an egg when broken it will be hard to gather the pieces, but we are blessed as a nation because we have someone like BENEDICT AKWUEGBU who can gather the broken pieces of Nigeria football and with his relentless effort can put us back into winning ways again.
Benedict Akwuegbu has gone, seen and conquered in many nations why not give him a trial.
I am here to appeal to the President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Bola AhmedTinubu.(GCFR) to allow Benedict Akwuegbu to serve Nigeria.
During his tenure accountability' transparency' selection of national teams will be to the interest of Nigeria.
Be it U17' U20' U23' Super Eagles, Super Falcons' all invitations must be on merit.
Remember the last Technical Study group comprising of ex internationals Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Victor Ikpeba, Kanu Nwankwo, Daniel Amokachi just to mention a few failed because of the disaffection among the Nigerian Ex internationals.
This is the time to bring experience' administration' maturity and technocratic leadership in Nigeria Football.
BENEDICT AKWUEGBU IS THE MAN TO TAKE THE MANTLE OF LEADERSHIP OF NIGERIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION.
