When Federal Character comes to play.

Nigeria as a Country consists of three major tribes, Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo with several other ethnic groups especially in the South South Geo-political Zone.
Nigeria is highly blessed with a pool of talents from all over the tribes well gifted.
Having said that the statistics have shown that one region or zone has been neglected for several years without representation in the Nigeria Football Federation Presidency.
South South has fully been represented for 8years by Amaju Melvin Pinnick without interruption, with this new dispensation knocking around Nigeria Football we need a total change from the old brigade and drive into a new course for a better Nigeria.
When the Golden Eaglets won the U17 FIFA World Cup in Japan 1993 it mainly comprised of South South and South East with a bunch of highly skilled talented players, people tagged Coach Fanny Amun an Igboist for his selection of South east ball jogglers in his deadly squad.
One thing Nigerians should be aware of is if the Golden Eaglets wins it is Nigeria that won, if Flying Eagles wins it is Nigeria, if Super Eagles wins it is not the zone but Nigeria so it is with all the national teams.
Selection of National team players should be on merit not on Federal character protocol or a zone must be represented come rain come sun.
If we have quality administration in the Nigeria Football Federation U17' U20' U23' Super Eagles' Super Falcons will be selected by honest merit.
Let me make it very clear South South zone have taken their own share of eight years in the Nigeria Football Federation setting' any candidate vying for the position of the Nigeria Football Federation Presidency is dead on arrival e.g Barrister Christopher Green, Peterside Idah and Joseph Yobo M.O.N are not eligible to contest in this new reformation of Nigeria Football.
I drop my writing pen here and pray for the conduct of free and fair election into the board of Nigeria Football Federation including the President.
